This document is an electronic record in accordance with the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and applicable rules made thereunder. It is published in accordance with Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011.

1. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds may be issued only in limited circumstances listed below:

Service Unavailability

If TaxEye is unable to provide access to your subscribed services due to a technical failure or platform unavailability lasting more than seven (7) consecutive days, you may request a refund for the affected subscription period.

Duplicate Transactions

If a user is charged twice for the same subscription or service due to a technical error, TaxEye will process a refund for the duplicate payment.

However, TaxEye will not be responsible for refunding payments resulting from banking errors, payment gateway failures, or user-side technical issues.

2. Situations Where Refunds Will Not Be Issued

TaxEye operates as a subscription-based SaaS platform; therefore, most payments are non-refundable once the service is activated.

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • Once access to the platform has been granted, and the subscription has commenced.
  • If the subscription has been partially used.
  • If the user changes their mind after purchasing the service.
  • If the subscription was purchased but never used.
  • If dissatisfaction arises from tax authority decisions, regulatory outcomes, or third-party actions beyond TaxEye's control.
  • Any indirect, consequential, or professional losses arising from reliance on platform-generated drafts or insights.

TaxEye functions as a technology assistance platform and does not guarantee outcomes in tax proceedings or compliance decisions.

3. Cancellation Policy

Users may cancel their subscription at any time through their account dashboard or by contacting our support team.

However, the cancellation does not trigger any refund; cancellation only stops future billing cycles, and users will continue to have access to the platform.

4. Free Trial

TaxEye may offer a free trial period to allow users to evaluate the platform. If you do not wish to continue using the service after the trial period, you may cancel the subscription before the trial period ends.

Failure to cancel before the end of the trial will result in automatic billing according to the applicable subscription plan. Once billing begins, this Refund Policy will apply in full.

5. Refund Request & Processing

To request a refund, users must submit a request via email with the following information:

  • Transaction ID
  • Payment receipt or screenshot
  • Date of payment
  • Reason for refund request

Refund requests should be sent to https://taxeye.in/.

Once a request is received, TaxEye will review the request within 5 to 7 working days. If approved, the refund will be initiated within 60 to 90 days. After initiation, the amount may take 10 to 15 business days to reflect in the original payment method. TaxEye will not be responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or other external systems.

6. Changes to This Refund Policy

TaxEye reserves the right to modify, update, or revise this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.

Users are encouraged to periodically review this page for the latest information. Continued use of the platform after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

7. Dispute Resolution, Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. In the event of any dispute arising from this policy, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter through arbitration. However, the arbitration proceedings shall be completed within 30 days, where possible. Any unresolved disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
